Rups Self-Contained Biological Indicator (SCBI) is specifically designed for the monitoring of vacuum assisted steam sterilization processes at 121^o – 134^o C and the gravity displacement steam sterilization cycles at 121^o – 123^o C. The ampoules contain Geobacillus Stearothermophilus spores on a filter-paper carrier as well as growth media. The population of the spores are 106. Each ampoule has a chemical process indicator enabling to recognize processed SCBI’s.

The ampoules contain Bacillus Atrophaeus spores on a paper filter carrier as well as growth media. The population of the spores are 106. Each ampoule has a chemical process indicator enabling to recognize processed SCBI’s.

Incubators for SCBI have a capacity for 13 ampoules.

Steam SCBI: The incubation time for steam SCBI’s is 24 hours at 56+/- 2^o C.

EtO SCBI: The incubation for EtO SCBI’s is 48 hours at 37+/- 2^o C.

Incubators are suited for 220V, 50Hz.
